The Church Buildings
Camberwell Baptist Church is situated at 460 Riversdale Road, East Hawthorn just west of Camberwell Junction. Our church is ideally located 100m from Camberwell Junction and readily accessed by public transport. Onsite car parking is also available.
Our church sanctuary was completed in 1940 and seats 220 to 250 people. Seating can be expanded to 300 people by opening-up our side meeting area.
The main auditorium is suitable for keynote conferences, seminars, theatre productions and musical concerts, and is often used for weddings both by partners of the church and by the public because of its heritage, beauty and central location.
Beyond the auditorium we have various size rooms seating from 35-80 people that are available, and can be requested for hosting your functions, parties and events. The church is equipped with a modern semi-commercial kitchen that is capable of supporting any catering requirements you may have.
