Rubies is for women of all ages to get together, primarily to provide opportunities for deeper relationship and encouragement as we journey through life together. Why the name Rubies? Well, the brilliance of red symbolizes the color of love and it radiates warmth and a strong sense of vitality – a good representation of the women of CBC. It is also an acronym which represents the heart of this ministry:
Relationships – Deepening relationship with God and with each other
Unity – Celebrating and embracing each other’s differences
Beliefs – Being open to listening to each other’s faith journeys and wrestling through challenges together
Integrity – To be women of integrity in our homes, jobs, relationships and neighborhoods
Experience – To share the experiences of life with each other
Service – To shine like stars as we serve our church, workplace and neighborhood
