Youth & Young Adults

Youth Socials

Youth Socials are part of the youth ministry of Camberwell Baptist Church and runs 3 Friday nights per school term.

Youth Socials seek to create a fun and safe place for teenagers to come and connect with each other through various activities. It is a place where young people can explore spiritual and ethical concepts that are important to consider as a young person in today’s society. The activities organised can be based either on site at the Wills St Hall or can be offsite for special activities such as Dark Zone, Bowling, Ice Skating or community service events.

For any information about activities please contact the office on office@camberwellbaptist.org

D-Teams

D-Teams are the small group branch of the youth ministry at Camberwell Baptist Church and they run on Sunday mornings during the school year.

These groups are a focused opportunity for youth to study the bible, encourage each other in their faith journey and do life together. D-teams are run by a small group of leaders who are passionate about seeing young people grow both in their relationship with God and also as people generally.

The group currently meets upstairs in the Youth Room partway through the 10am morning service and the youth are directed to head out after the early part of the service is complete. The group then splits into smaller groups to suit the age of those attending.

Young Adults

The Young Adults of Camberwell Baptist church are passionate about building a community that is about sharing life, serving others, and lives being transformed as we grow in our walk with Jesus.

We are a relaxed and welcoming group with a number of ways you can connect. We have small groups during the week where we talk openly about the Bible and what it means to follow Jesus in our everyday lives.  There are also regular social activities where you can come and be part of our group, and opportunities to serve the church and our community.

For more information about how you can come and connect with our community contact Joel Grant, 0402 417 000 or via email, thejmanjoel@gmail.com
