“Very truly I tell you, it is for your good I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.” (John 16:7)

At the conclusion of his ministry Jesus makes this promise to his disciples, but more than a concession or consolation, the arrival of the Spirit gave them access to the presence and power of Jesus without the limitations of the flesh.  The Spirit came to be with his disciples, to dwell within, and this becomes manifest in our lives in some incredible, supernatural, inexplicable ways.

As followers of Jesus we believe this promise is not just for the early disciples, but for us, we have the Spirit’s presence within, have been given access to his power, to inspire and equip us to know, and become more like Jesus, so we can serve him in the world.

Join us from Pentecost on June 9th as we open our hearts and lives, and allow the Spirit room to breathe afresh, who knows, God might even do something unexpected, even supernatural in our time, in our church, in our lives.
